### What Are Blocks?

Blocks are modular content elements that allow you to build and structure your thoughts visually. A block can be:

* Text
* Quotes
* Lists
* Images
* PDFs
* Web links
* and much more

You can add as many blocks as you want to any document or board, enabling flexible and creative workflows.

### Creating a Block

There are two main ways to create a text block on your desk or board:

1. **Using the bottom menu:** Click "**Create Text Block**".
2. **Double-click:** Simply double-click anywhere on your board or desk.

Once the block appears, place it on your canvas and just start typing your content.

### Customizing Blocks

After adding a block, you can:

* **Click the six dots** above the block to drag or connect with other Blocks.
