# Navigating the new canvas experience for users who joined before October 8th 2024

If you joined **Scrintal** before **October 8th**, you may have noticed some changes. This guide will walk you through what's new and how to get the most out of it.

### What Has Changed?

Scrintal has evolved to give you even more flexibility and creativity when organizing your thoughts. Here's what's new:

* **All your previous boards and docs remain untouched**
* The interface looks familiar — no disruption to your existing workflow
* **New boards** now use an enhanced canvas experience
* A **powerful new block system** is available

Blocks offer a more flexible and intuitive way to:

* Organize ideas visually
* Combine and rearrange content freely
* Create structure as you brainstorm or plan

You can now:

* Connect blocks to one another
* Mix blocks with docs
* Build content in a modular and creative way
