# Navigating the Scrintal Interface

### The Desk

When you launch Scrintal, you will land on **the desk** — an infinite canvas where you can:

* Write
* Read
* Upload media
* Use various tools via the bottom toolbar

### Creating and Using Blocks

* **To create a block:**
  * click the "**Create text block**" on the toolbar and place it on the canvas 
  * double-click anywhere on the canvas
  * press "**T**" on your keyboard and place it on the canvas 
* Start typing to record your ideas.
* Rearrange blocks by holding and dragging.
* Change block colors using the top toolbar.
* Resize blocks by dragging corners.
* Press `/` to access useful tools like task lists or links.
