What Is a Board?

Boards in Scrintal are blank, infinite canvases that you can use to:

  • Structure projects

  • Organize thoughts visually

  • Group-related documents and blocks

  • Collaborate with others in real-time

You can create as many boards as you need, each serving a specific use case or project.

There are multiple ways to create a board in Scrintal:

Method 1: From the Desk

  • Select a group of blocks by clicking and dragging your cursor across them

  • Right-click the selection

  • Choose "Create Board" from the menu

  • Title your board and start organizing your content

Method 2: From the Sidebar

  • Go to the left-side menu

  • Choose the Boards tab

  • Click "Create a Board" to start from a blank canvas

Method 3: From Toolbar

  • Go to the toolbar at the bottom of your screen

  • Click "Create New Board"

  • Place the new board on your board

Populating Your Board

Once your board is created, you can:

  • Add new blocks directly

  • Drag existing blocks or documents from your library

  • Insert media, notes, lists, and more

This makes your board a central space to manage complex ideas and projects.

Boards help you visualize workflows:

  • Rearrange and resize elements freely

  • Use connectors and links to show relationships

  • Zoom and pan for a clear overview of large projects
